From Anime to Abolition

Like many Asian American kids raised in California, I filled sketchbooks with Naoko Takeuchi’s Sailor Moon fan art. Though I’m no longer doodling girls that fight evil by moonlight, my professional illustration work addresses carceral harm and points towards PIC abolition. I’ve worked with the Asian Prisoner Support Committee, Survived & Punished, and Human Impact Partners. Additionally, I’ve illustrated for the Asian American Writer’s Workshop and completed countless personal projects and zines.

In the future, I would love to work on more editorial assignments and book covers.
